"Ammodara rooms" are situated 800m from the centre of Naxos Town (Chora), 1km from the airport, 1km from the port and only 100m from the beautiful beach of St. George.

St. George is a bay with 1 kilometre long sandy beach full organized with shallow waters which makes it safe for kids. It is the most popular beach of Naxos with crystal water, offering sun beds, umbrellas and water sports facilities. Close to the rooms there are two windsurfing clubs. The beach is lined by several cafes and restaurants. Evenings at Saint George beach are beautiful and romantic.

Our rooms are situated far from noise and at the same time close to the town centre and port. Close to the rooms (200-300m far from) there are super markets, bakery, as well as a variety of shops, where you can buy everything you will need during your stay here.

The location provides great comfort in transportation.- there is a bus station in front of the rooms. You can take the bus and visit the beaches of the west side of Naxos (Aghios Prokopios, Aghia Anna, Plaka) or go to town. The buses run every 15 minutes.

How to get there:

From Naxos town take the road to the airport. You will find the rooms on your left hand, 300m from Cine Astra (cinema). Nearest village is Ag. Prokopios at a distance of 3,5km. Our rooms are located also close to the important archaeological site of Yria, where the ancient temple of Dionysos is situated.

Maria’s Rooms & Studios

Maria’s Rooms & Studios is situated next to the one of the most beautiful beaches of the Cyclades, Maragas Beach. This beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. It is several kilometres long. It has fine sand and there are several trees for natural shade. To the right side of the entrance of the pension the beach is called "Agia Anna Beach", to the left it is called "Plaka Beach".

The complex of the rooms is near the village of Agia Anna (in distance 500m.), which has a small fisher port. A sailing boat - which makes excursions around the island and to nearby smallislands - leaves from here.

The Maria’s Rooms & Studios is ideally located, only 20 minutes ride from Naxos-town, and they?re many great hikes to make in the surrounding area. There is a bus stop in 100m. distance. The bus takes you in 20 min. to the main town of the island, Naxos-town (or Chora).

Naxos airport is about 4 kilometres from the pension and the main town of the island - Chora - about 7 kilometers.
